Kalon Digor

France is a small country but very rich in its food diversity. France is divided in regions and each region has its specialties.

Kalon Digor is the Breton word for "bon appétit".

Brittany is well known for its crêpes and apple cider but has also some amazing cakes and sea food.

At Kalon Digor we want to share our love for this authentic food from Brittany and we are also sharing specialties from other French region.

Each product is made from scratch from quality ingredients. We take pride of the products we make using traditional methods.

At Kalon Digor we like healthy, authentic food. We do not add food colouring, emulsifiers or preservatives.

Finalist

2018

Kalon Digor has been selected as a finalist to the Inspire+ New Zealand Artisan Award 2018 in the Fresh category.

This competition had over 350 entries accross fresh, frozen, chilled, deli and ambient.

Finalist: Kalon Digor – Kouign Amann

Luc Jorieux’s bakery focuses on this pastry, pronounced Kwin-aman. It’s a traditional food from Brittany and is as deliciously buttery and crunchy as you’d expect traditional French food to be. Available in Auckland and made fresh from local ingredients.
